Fees & Policies

Understanding the financial aspects of seeking therapy is crucial for planning and accessing the support you need. Below, we outline our fee structure and payment policies to ensure transparency and ease as you embark on your therapeutic journey with us. This includes details on insurance coverage, session fees, and additional charges, all designed to provide clarity and assist in making informed decisions about your mental health care.

Notice of Price Increase for Psychological Services

At Auschrat Counselling Services, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our clients. To ensure we can continue delivering quality services while maintaining alignment with industry standards, we would like to inform you of an adjustment to our hourly rates. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to ensure you understand the reasons behind this adjustment.

Effective July 1, 2025, the hourly fees for sessions with Registered Psychologists will increase to $235.00 per hour. This adjustment aligns with the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta’s (PAA) 2025 Recommended Fee Schedule.

The PAA Recommended Fee Schedule reflects the evolving costs of providing professional services and serves as a standard for third-party payers, such as benefit providers. By aligning with these recommendations, we ensure that we can continue to provide exceptional care, while supporting the sustainability of our practice and our team.

For more information about the PAA Recommended Fee Schedule, you can visit their website
