She provides counselling for adults who are navigating life changes, stress, anxiety, relationships, and the many challenges that can arise throughout life. Lesley has a particular interest in supporting women through midlife and the transitions that can come with this stage of life.
Therapeutic Approach
Lesley takes a warm, collaborative, and person-centred approach to counselling. She draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, trauma-informed practice, and clinical hypnotherapy, tailoring her approach to each individual. She believes that counselling works best when you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Together, Lesley and her clients explore what is happening, identify what matters to them, and work toward meaningful and practical change.
Qualifications and Memberships
Lesley is a Counselling Therapist (ACTA), Registered Psychiatric Nurse, and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Her extensive experience in mental health has provided her with a broad understanding of the challenges people can face at different stages of life. She brings this experience together with her counselling and hypnotherapy training to support clients in finding greater understanding, confidence, and direction.

Personal Interests
Outside of her professional life, Lesley enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, adult daughters, and grandchildren. She loves to travel, spend time with the people she cares about, and make the most of life’s experiences. She is also a sports fan and enjoys following hockey and baseball, especially when she can cheer on her favourite teams. Lesley values connection, family, laughter, and finding time to enjoy the things that bring balance to everyday life.
